It’s always hard to leave. and this time we figured out it takes 25 hours door-to-door. From Abe to Comfort Cove (oh yes my rents have a name for their house too… You see where I get it from?)

There was lots of boating, bingo and beer

There was art! Our Aunt Winnie made us this beauty to hang above a fireplace

And friend Doug Bevill gave us two of his pieces of freighters on the Great Lakes and old friend Davey made me a hemp knecklace!

And then there was the most beautiful wedding of the century. My friend Michael married the super-smarty-pants-beauty Kara on Mackinaw Island. The wedding was perfect and we wish them loads of happiness and babies!

It was sad to say adios to all our amigos but rest assured, we’ve invited everyone to come visit us at Abe.

There are no Cheboygan sunsets, Dirty Duck or vegetarians here…but there are plenty of castles and pubs? Come on over….. Please…. I promise we won’t make you plaster your own room.
