Anyone need a rubber dub?

Originally when planning the bathroom- we thought it would look something like

But that bathtub was actually much bigger than we thought- so we tried and tried but couldn’t get it to fit! We bought the bathtub before we had the house, because it was such a steal- from about £800 reduced to £60 because it had a scratch. But the catch is, it’s massive!

We have been going back and forth with the damn bathtub since, and after measuring it and putting it in every possible space in the bathroom- we have come to the conclusion that sometimes there is too much of a good thing

So despite our efforts we are going to have to put that badboy tub up for sale and get a normal size one.

After much deliberation- The bathroom now looks something like this

Normal size tub means we have more space for the shower and linen cabinets. I still feel defeated though by that tub.

Colours and even Boris the Pelican, are up for negotiation. Partly because while we were cleaning the walls and getting them ready for new plaster I heard one of the smutty walls call out on a husky voice, check out what’s under my plaster.

And low and behold that minxy has brick. Well she is sure getting exposed!

It took me all weekend, but little by little I chipped away at it.

Ok I might have had a little bit of help….

But here she is- fully exposed

And with a sister wall!

It’s all happening here folks.

Will and me are working hard on this bathroom and have taken a week off to get a lil farther on it. We’ve given ourselves a 6 week deadline. in 6 weekzz I wanna be able to soak in that little tub. Can it be done???

But back to the original reason for this post…. Anyone need a big ass tub?
